Job summary

Meijer is hiring an entry-level Stocking Clerk to deliver friendly, knowledgeable service and support everyday store operations. You will stock shelves, move products from pallets to shelves, and keep back areas organized.

You’ll work nights to prepare the store for the day ahead, collaborate with leadership, and interact with customers as needed. Priorities include safety, efficiency, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to deliver friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Ability to work as part of a team toward shared goals.
• Basic comfort with using simple technology.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
