About the role

As a Stock Associate, you play an essential role in the customer service experience by maximizing product inventory levels. By processing freight and stocking shelves, you ensure that the store is organized and clean. Both part-time and full-time positions generally maintain floor merchandise and inventory standards. You may also be assigned as a cashier or sales assistant. You will report to the store management team.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing customer service by greeting and informing customers about products and services.
• Maintaining aisles following established guidelines.
• Processing freight, unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, and resolving inventory discrepancies.
• Opening cases, breaking down boxes, and managing cardboard.
• Ensuring signage is correct, building displays, and maintaining cleanliness.
• Sharing knowledge of Total Wine & More’s product portfolio.
• Maintaining safety and cleanliness standards throughout the store.

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Flexible schedule availability.
• Experience with retail technology and inventory management preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
• Team player with a desire to learn about products and services.

Physical requirements:

• Ability to walk, bend, stand for 8-10 hours, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
