Job summary

DOW Technologies is seeking a Stocking and Warehouse Associate in Tampa, FL to unload, stock, and organize merchandise within the warehouse. Responsibilities include loading/unloading shipments, maintaining inventory, pulling orders, and ensuring accurate deliveries. The role requires physical stamina and reliability.

Hours are 8am-5pm Monday through Friday with some overtime as needed. Benefits include medical, dental, 401k with company match and additional supplements.

Responsibilities

• Perform general stocking duties including storing and stocking products in bins, pallets, shelves, and racks.
• Responsible for accurate weekly physical inventory counts.
• Maintain precise inventory of all product lines daily.
• Accurate order pulling and stocking and organization.
• Load and unload shipments from delivery vehicles and carriers.
• Process freight and ground shipments accurately.
• Verify accuracy of warehouse deliveries.
• Sort, stack, and rotate inventory weekly (FIFO).
• Accurately pull and fill customer orders.
• Accurately check pulled orders.
• Create and update documents using Microsoft Office.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of facility.

Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Stocking and Warehouse Associate to join our DOW Warehouse team. The Stocking and Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing general warehouse functions with a focus unloading and loading merchandise shipments from trucks to stock and organize the products in the correct places within the warehouse.

Hours are 8am-5pm Monday through Friday with some overtime as needed.

Job Duties

• Perform general stocking duties on a daily basis including storing and stocking products in/on bins, pallets, shelves, racks.


• Responsible for accurate weekly physical inventory counts.


• Maintain precise inventory of all product lines on a daily basis.


• Accurate order pulling and checking, and thorough stocking and organization.


• Load and unload shipments from all delivery vehicles and common carriers.


• Process freight and ground shipments accurately.


• Verify accuracy of warehouse deliveries.


• Sort, stack, and rotate inventory weekly (FIFO).


• Accurately pull and fill customer orders.


• Accurately check pulled orders.


• Create and update documents using Microsoft Office products.


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of facility.

Physical Requirements

• Able to grasp, sit, stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis.


• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push/pull heavy loads of 75 pounds in a physical environment.


• Ability to push/pull up to 500 pounds using a pallet jack or pallet stacker.


• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.


• Ability to be on your feet for and moving for up 8-10 hours a day as workload permits.


• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
