Responsible for food storage of both dry goods and refrigerated/frozen products.. Ensures safe, quality food and service while operating within program guidelines.
Other duties may be assigned.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

High School diploma required.
Current valid Michigan Drivers license
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general Point of Sale reports. Ability to effectively communicate with others.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money, weight measurement, volume and distance. Mathematical aptitude involving basic arithmetic skills.
Skills in taking initiative and being highly flexible; customer oriented, including ability to anticipate the needed changes in service and customer demands
Ability to understand common sense reasoning and to carry out detailed but basic written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Ability to work in a friendly manner with co-workers and students. Good organizational and math skills; ability to lift 75 pounds, ability to perform job and communicate in a noisy environment. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff and community. Ability to operate a personal computer and related software. Ability to perform duties with full awareness of all district requirements and the Board of Education policies.
Must be able to provide own reliable transportation to and from different work units daily, with mileage reported for reimbursement.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk and to stand. Ability to work in extreme temperature, humidity and congested work areas. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision and color vision. Manual dexterity: Ability to move quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
