Stocker Merchandiser Summer Seasonal EFFINGHAM (Primary)

Position Details

Days/Hours of Work: 5 days a week, including weekends; 6am - 7:30am start time. The season end date is flexible between August and September.

Job Summary

Merchandisers stock Coca-Cola beverage products in retail accounts, ensuring all beverage sections, end caps, racks, and displays are filled for consumers. They monitor product date codes, rotate products for freshness, and maintain display standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and replenish products on store shelves and displays, transporting items between backroom and sales floor using manual or powered equipment.
• Create, modify, or remove product displays, maintain signage, and handle damaged or defective products.
• Organize the backroom, monitor inventory levels, and utilize FIFO methods for product rotation.
• Evaluate damaged products, re-pack, and organize backroom materials; complete necessary paperwork.
• Communicate with store personnel and team via Teams app, sharing updates, photos, and coordinating on stock issues and customer concerns.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with coworkers and customers.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; at least one year of related work experience.
• Must be 18+ years old, with a valid driver’s license, insurance, and a clean driving record.
• Experience with equipment like pallet jacks or lifts preferred; ability to obtain certification required.
• Basic tech skills; familiarity with smartphones and laptops.
• Flexible with hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Demands

• Constant speaking and visual tasks.
• Frequent typing, walking, bending, and squatting.
• Frequent lifting up to 40 lbs., pushing carts, and traveling between locations.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay: $18.50/hour. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, wellness programs, and tuition reimbursement for full-time employees. Part-time employees are eligible for some benefits.
