Job Description

Job Summary:

  • Moves stock from the stocking aisles to the appropriate location using hand carts or hand jacks.
  • Removes product from boxes, verifies title and location, and places on shelves in an orderly manner.
  • Breaks down boxes and packing materials.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Reading and writing comprehension skills up to high school level.
  • Basic arithmetic skills: addition and subtraction.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work safely following safety guidelines in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Flexibility and multi-tasking based on workflow demands.
  • Ability to meet and maintain production standards.
  • Reliable attendance.
  • Effective communication, concentration, learning, and work skills.
Education and Experience
  • At least 6 months of consecutive work experience.
  • Experience involving walking, standing, lifting, pushing/pulling, gripping, bending, squatting, twisting, climbing, crawling, reaching, and typing.
Essential Physical Demands
  • Ability to walk and stand continuously during shifts.
  • Lift/carry up to 50 lbs as needed.
  • Push/pull up to 45 lbs occasionally.
  • Frequent bending, squatting, twisting, climbing, crawling, reaching, and typing.
  • Work hours may include overtime, early, late, or weekend shifts.
  • Exposure to various temperatures.
