Job summary

Nation’s Best is seeking a front-line yard associate in Howe, OK. You’ll help customers locate products, load purchases, and assist with deliveries in a fast-paced setting. You’ll load, count, and organize stock while following safety rules and maintaining a clean work area.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, forklift experience preferred, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs with assistance. Flexible scheduling includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with great service by helping them find products and loading purchases into vehicles.
• Check materials for delivery readiness and ensure accurate packing for transport.
• Load materials safely and keep the yard organized and easy to navigate.
• Assist with deliveries and unload products; drive forklifts or company vehicles as needed.
• Maintain training on products and safety rules and support team as required.
• Follow safety protocols and participate in inventory counts to keep stock accurate.

What You’ll Do and How You’ll Make an Impact

• Provide customers with great service by helping them find products, offering recommendations and loading their purchases into vehicles
• Check materials to make sure everything is ready for quick and accurate deliveries
• Load materials safely and make sure all items are packed correctly for transport
• Keep the yard organized and make sure everything is easy to locate
• Help with deliveries, drive forklifts or company vehicles and unload products
• Keep up with training and learn about products and safety rules
• Step in to help with customer service in different areas as needed
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management to help the team run smoothly
• Follow safety rules, keep the work area clean and help make sure everyone stays safe
• Assist with counting inventory to make sure stock levels are accurate
• Other tasks as assigned

What Makes You a Great Fit

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience with construction or building materials is helpful but not required
• Forklift experience (1+ year preferred)
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and co-workers effectively
• A willingness to lift, climb, reach, twist, bend, and lift up to 100 lbs with assistance
