Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking a Dollar Fresh Stocker in Emmetsburg, IA. The role supports Grocery, Dairy, Frozen, Meat, HBC, Wine and Spirits and other store sections by stocking, labeling, and organizing products while delivering friendly customer service.

Candidates should be comfortable with physical tasks, able to stand for long periods, and willing to learn. Training provided; no extensive experience required. This is an hourly position requiring attention to store standards and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and help them find products across store areas.

Your work behind the scenes directly shapes the shopping experience our customers love.If you enjoy staying active, take pride in doing things right, and like being part of a hardworking team, this could be a great fit for you.What You’ll DoNo two shifts are exactly the same, but here’s what you can expect:Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly in all areas of the store and helping them find what they needAssist customers with finding products, reaching items, carrying heavy purchases, and passing along any feedback or requests to the teamUnload trucks, open containers, stock shelves, run overstock on risers, and rotate product to ensure freshnessLabel all product containers in the backroom and storage areas with the date receivedTag shelves with overstock in the back room and understock drawersMonitor for mis-picked items, product outs, and wrong deliveries, and report issues accordinglyOrganize stock for greatest efficiency and clean and restock any damaged itemsOperate the cash register to complete customer transactions accurately and efficiently as neededStock supplies including cigarettes, front-end sacks, and department suppliesAssist with outside maintenance including shoveling snow, spreading ice melt, and returning cartsHelp with cleaning throughout the store including registers, restrooms, breakroom, and backroomAssist store management with displays, decorations, and special promotions as neededMaintain compliance with Hy-Vee’s dress code, hygiene standards, and all company policiesAssist in other store areas and take on special projects as neededYou’ll receive direction and support from: District Store Director, Store Manager, and Center Store ManagerYour SkillsYou don’t need prior experience for this role!
