Job summary

PGA TOUR, Inc. is seeking a Merchandiser/Inventory Associate for the TPC San Antonio golf shop, focusing on accurate processing of golf-related purchases and inventory control.

You will handle orders, invoices, and stock room management while ensuring proper documentation and timely communication with staff and customers. The role requires attention to detail, prior inventory experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced resort environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
Two to three years of similar experience in retail or operations.
Previous merchandise and/or inventory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Accurately prepare, receive, code, track and file all golf-related purchase orders and invoices.
Return invoices to Merchandise Manager and then to accounting per procedures.
Track, check-in, invoice and charge staff and member special orders.
Communicate with customers and staff regarding each special order.
Receive and date incoming/outgoing golf shop merchandise per policies.
Check in and invoice golf merchandise prior to shipment to designated property.
Maintain RTV records and obtain RA credits from vendors for returns.
Code invoices for payment; verify prices and quantities vs purchase orders.
Mark merchandise in stock room for temporary, permanent or basic fill use.
Assist in inventory checks, par levels and stockroom management.

Thorough knowledge of general business practices, retail sales practices and procedures as would be acquired through two to three years of similar experience.
Previous merchandise and/or inventory experience preferred.

Responsibilities / Duties

Accurately prepare, receive, code, track and file all golf-related purchase orders and invoices.
Return all merchandise invoices to the Merchandise Manager for approval and then to the accounting department according to established procedures.
Accurately track, check-in, invoice and charge staff and member special orders.
Communicate appropriately with the customer, Merchandise Manager or necessary personnel relative to each special order.
Properly receive and date all incoming and outgoing Golf Shop merchandise according to established policies and procedures.
Properly check in and invoice all golf-related merchandise received prior to its shipment to any other designated Property.
Maintain records on all RTV’s (return to vendors) and obtain appropriate return authorization (RA’s) and credits from vendors for merchandise returned.
Accurately code invoices for payment verifying prices, quantities against purchase orders.
Accurately mark all merchandise stored in the stock room for temporary, permanent or basic fill use.
Assist in accurately, neatly, and continually checking inventories in the stock room.
Check par levels of all stock room merchandise.
Assist in the management and administration of stock room and golf shop inventories.
Assist with inventory variance research.
Assist in accurately maintaining stockroom inventory to control shrink.
Train and educate Golf Shop Staff in proper stock room procedures.
Create and maintain a professional, well managed stock room appearance.
Assist with all golf-related merchandise relative to annual PGA TOUR related events or group outings.
Run standard inventory reports to confirm accuracy and existing product levels.
Special projects or other duties as assigned.
