Job summary

The role reports to the Stock Room Manager and requires strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills, with 2+ years in purchasing. Day shift, first shift, Monday–Friday, with overtime as needed.

Responsible for sourcing and acquiring aircraft parts and services to support scheduled maintenance, inspections, repairs, and modifications on business jet and turboprop aircraft.

Position Summary

AVMATS Jet Support is seeking an experienced Purchaser for our location in Chesterfield, Missouri. This role is responsible for sourcing and procuring parts, materials, and services to support daily maintenance operations. Responsibilities include obtaining and comparing quotations, evaluating supplier reliability, preparing purchase orders, and coordinating with internal departments to identify advantageous substitutions. The Purchaser will also secure samples and arrange testing when necessary, monitor orders and follow up on deliveries to ensure timely receipt of materials.

The Purchaser reports directly to the Stock Room Manager and plays an important role in keeping maintenance operations running efficiently.

Position Location and Schedule

Full-time, first-shift position at AVMATS Jet Support.

• General purchasing experience, with 2+ years of experience as a purchaser's assistant or clerk.
