Job summary

Sodexo Group is hiring a Stock Worker and Receiver in Houston for full-time stock and warehouse support. The role focuses on receiving merchandise, unloading goods, stocking shelves, and assisting with order placement.

You will handle routine inventory checks and coordinate with vendors alongside internal teams. The position requires walking/standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and potentially operating a forklift.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year experience in warehouse or stock roles.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Forklift operation certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.
• Receives, lifts, moves, stores, issues, counts, sorts, weighs, and verifies items on requisitions or invoices.
• Communicates with vendors and internal teams to coordinate delivery schedules and confirm receipt of goods.
• Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, and records shortages.
