Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Stock Worker and Receiver to support warehouse operations at Texas Christian University. You will receive, unload, and stock items, verify shipments, and assist with order fulfillment, all while maintaining accurate records and communicating with vendors.

The role requires light physical duties, the ability to walk/stand for long periods, and may require a valid driver’s license or forklift certification. Flexible shifts and full-/part-time options are available.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year experience in stock/receiving.
• Valid driver's license may be required.
• Forklift certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.
• Receives, lifts, moves, stores, issues, counts, sorts, weighs, and verifies items on requisitions or invoices.
• Communicates with vendors, carriers, and internal departments to coordinate delivery schedules and confirm receipt of goods.
• Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and coordinates with shipper to rectify issues.
• Fills orders, issues supplies from stock and rotates stock to ensure freshness.
• Ability to walk or stand for extended periods during shifts.
