Job summary

Empower is seeking a Stock Plan Services Associate to support day-to-day operations of Empower's stock plan services platform. You will process transactions, resolve issues, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate, compliant, and efficient service for clients and participants.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Business/Finance or equivalent, 2+ years in financial services, FINRA Series 7, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field is required
  • 2+ years in financial services, preferably stock plan or brokerage operations
  • FINRA Series 7 registration and fingerprinting required
  • Experience with stock plan administration or equity trading
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, SharePoint
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Process stock plan transactions including plan setup and participant reviews
  • Support equity transactions (RSU vestings, ESPP events, option exercises, 10b5-1)
  • Coordinate DWAC and DTC transfers with clearing firms
  • Reconcile trades and participant accounts across platforms
  • Research and resolve operational exceptions
  • Support audits, compliance requests, and process improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient service

As a Stock Plan Services Associate, you will support the day-to-day operations of Empower's stock plan services platform. You'll process transactions, resolve operational issues, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate, compliant, and efficient service for clients and participants.

What You Will Do
  • Process stock plan transactions including plan setup, participant account reviews, reconciliations, and issue resolution
  • Support equity transactions related to RSU vestings, ESPP events, option exercises, and 10b5-1 instructions
  • Initiate and monitor DWAC and DTC transfers while coordinating with clearing firms to ensure accurate settlement
  • Reconcile trade executions, allocations, and participant accounts across multiple platforms
  • Research and resolve operational, trading, and account-related exceptions
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to support stock plan trading activities and operational readiness
  • Support audits, compliance requests, process improvements, and daily service activities to deliver an exceptional client experience
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent financial services experience
  • 2+ years of experience in financial services, preferably in stock plan services, brokerage operations, or trading support
  • FINRA Series 7 registration and fingerprinting required
  • Experience with stock plan administration, equity trading, or brokerage operations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and SharePoint
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment

Base Salary Range

$55,300.00 - $76,075.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non‑sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
