Commercial Tire Inc. in Burley, Idaho is looking for a full-time Mechanic to inspect vehicles, perform tire rotations and alignments, and handle oil changes and preventive maintenance. The role requires attention to safety, customer service, and teamwork, with opportunities for ASE certification.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• 6 months related experience (preferred).
• High School Diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle and communicate items needing repair before car leaves shop.
• Inspect and recommend needed repairs and/or services per inspection report.
• Perform alignments, fluid exchanges, oil changes, brake evaluation per manufacturer specs.
• Change, repair, balance, and replace tires with proper torquing.
• Monitor and replenish lubricant inventory.
• Recommend products and services when needed.
• Complete training and maintain certifications (e.g., ASE).
• Assist with phones, front counter, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.
