Job summary

Steve Madden in Towson is seeking a part-time Stock Associate to verify receipts, process deliveries, and place merchandise in the stockroom. You will support store operations and ensure accurate stock movement while maintaining a strong customer experience.

This role requires 1-2 years of retail experience, a high school diploma, solid verbal and written communication, and comfort using a POS system. Flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to process information or merchandise through the computer system and POS.

Responsibilities

• Maintain passion for product and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Process and replenish merchandise, receive floor stock, and move products in/out of stockroom.
• Ensure accurate stockroom operations, especially during peak hours.
• Communicate clearly with management about product levels and stock needs.
• Assist in store operations including floor moves, visual merchandising, display maintenance, cleaning, and returning products to inventory.
• Be flexible and occasionally perform work outside your specific role.
