Job summary

Tate Americas in Red Lion, PA is seeking a Stock Keeper 1 to ensure materials are available and inventory is accurately recorded. The role supports multiple departments and involves loading, unloading, and coordinating shipments with attention to safety and paperwork accuracy.

Work hours are Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:20 PM on the 1st shift. Candidates should have 3–5 years of shipping or warehouse experience, forklift licensing, and basic data-entry skills to document part numbers and

Responsibilities

About The Role

The Stock Keeper 1 is responsible for ensuring proper materials are available to the assigned departments while maintaining accurate inventory transactions via scanning equipment. Accurately load trucks and receive material and complete required paperwork.

Note: This position is for 1st Shift

Hours for this role are Monday-Friday 6 AM - 2:20 PM.

What You’ll Do

• Load and unload tractor trailers for receiving and shipping purposes.


• Perform shipment audits. Have the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.


• Ensure materials are correctly staged/shipped and all paperwork is correctly written to coordinate transactions. Clearly label all cartons and accurately record part numbers, quantities, and number of cartons required for each customer number.


• Determine appropriate packaging methods to ensure protection from shipping damage, load distribution, and stability, load trucks per packing list.


• Operate overhead crane, weight counting scales, and other shipping equipment.


• Requisition and maintain adequate inventory of supplies including cartons, banding materials, tape, forms, etc.


• Maintain good housekeeping and follow established safety procedures.


• Follow all policies, procedures, and work instructions including Employee Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Manufacturing Operating Procedures (MOPs), Job Safety Analysis (JSAs), and Safety Manual.


• Maintain awareness of individual contribution to and impact of the quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and activities; report all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel.

Additional Expectations

• Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.


• Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.


• Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.


• Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.

What You’ll Bring

• High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent experience.


• Forklift experienced and prior licensing required.


• 3 – 5 years shipping or warehouse experience.


• Ability to use computers and perform alphanumeric data entry.


• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions


• Ability interface with a diverse workforce.


• Ability lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally during an 8-hour shift.


• Able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and crouch for an 8-hour shift.


• Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle or feel machinery, equipment or parts and work near moving mechanical parts.
