Title: Stock Control Associate – Stocking


Location: Manfield, Texas
The Stock Control Associate in Stocking has a strong work ethic, with an attention to detail, motivation
and exceeds customer expectations by accurate work and high productivity, while performing key
responsibilities based on assigned job function.


ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


• Ensures Mouser meets or exceeds customer’s expectations by meeting and exceeding
established quality/accuracy
• Strictly adheres to all posted procedures
• Maintains acceptable attendance based on Mouser Absence Policy guidelines, which are
measured against the number of unscheduled missed hours. Must be at work on time. Regular
attendance at work is an essential function of the job
• Demonstrates a positive “team” oriented demeanor and approach toward work assignments.
Contributes to ongoing success of the entire warehouse team by willingly accepting and
embracing “other duties as required” along with willingness to help the department as a whole
• Actively cross-trains in other areas, as required, outside of a primary job function
• Ensures a safe working environment for self and others by adhering to established safety
expectations and by following established housekeeping requirements. Notifies management of
any observed safety hazards
• Interacts effectively with individuals and groups inside and outside the organization
• Other measurements of demeanor/teamwork include, but are not limited to, effectiveness in
working with co-workers, ability to work overtime, sense of urgency within the department, ability
to work unsupervised, flexibility, and an overall quality focused demeanor toward work and
Mouser
• Follows appropriate procedures for area
• Notifies management of any procedure violations
• Maintains a professional, neat and orderly work area, including product of preservation
• Maintains ESD Control for area, as applicable
• Attends team talks regularly
• Represents the company in a professional manner
• Provides customer service excellence
• Supports and participates in the company’s total quality process, including continuous
improvements


The following summarizes the key job accountabilities to be performed:


o Scans product and bin barcodes
o Matches the supplier part number and quantity to the system information
o Verifies parts in bin are the same as parts to be stocked
o Rotates parts so that there is first in, first out (FIFO)
o Uses the Warehouse Control System to find alternate locations, when necessary


SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS


• Able to use a computer, and handheld computer/iPad (preferred)
• Able to count and match accurately and perform simple math
• Ability to see, read and understand instructions in English with various sizes and fonts
• Able to hear and interpret verbal communication(s) at a threshold of 20db at 1000Hz & 2000Hz and
at 25db at 500Hz & 4000Hz
• Strong quality and productivity orientation
• Able to maneuver in aisles 36" wide, stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, grasp, push and pull for 10-
12 hours, and reach, lift and carry products weighing up to 40 pounds from ground level and up to
2' (using stairs and ladders)
• May be trained to operate a powered industrial truck (such as wave, forklift and/or pallet jack)
(preferred)
• Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job
• Ability to work overtime and weekends


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE


• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior warehouse experience preferred


Stock Control Associate – Stocking


o Level 1 is considered entry level.
o Level 2 may be achieved by maintaining an error rate less than 1000 PPM and average of
85% of the goal for activity per hour.
o Level 3 may be achieved by maintaining an error rate less than 500 PPM and average of
100% of the goal for activity per hour.


Stock Control Associate – Stocking – Bulk


• Must work in a zone that is designated as bulk for 50% or more of the hours worked


o Level 1 is considered entry level.
o Level 2 may be achieved by maintaining an error rate less than 1000 PPM and average of
85% of the goal for activity per hour.
o Level 3 may be achieved by maintaining an error rate less than 500 PPM and average of
100% of the goal for activity per hour.


Stock Control Associate – Stocking – Wave Driver
• Must be certified wave driver.
• Must work in a zone that is designated for a wave for 50% or more of the hours worked


o Level 1 is considered entry level.
o Level 2 may be achieved by maintaining an error rate less than 1000 PPM and average of
85% of the goal for activity per hour.
o Level 3 may be achieved by maintaining an error rate less than 500 PPM and average of
100% of the goal for activity per hour.


Stock Control Associate – Stocking – Forklift Driver


• Must be certified forklift driver
• Must work in a zone that is designated for a forklift for 50% or more of the hours worked


o Level 1 is considered entry level.
o Level 2 may be achieved by maintaining an error rate less than 1000 PPM and average of
85% of the goal for activity per hour.
o Level 3 may be achieved by maintaining an error rate less than 500 PPM and average of
100% of the goal for activity per hour.
