Job description

Title: Stock Control Associate – Order Pulling

Location: Mansfield, Texas

The Stock Control Associate in Order Pulling has a strong work ethic, attention to detail, motivation, and exceeds customer expectations through accurate work and high productivity while performing key responsibilities based on assigned job function.

ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Ensures Mouser meets or exceeds customer’s expectations by meeting and exceeding established quality/accuracy.
  2. Strictly adheres to all posted procedures.
  3. Maintains acceptable attendance based on Mouser Absence Policy guidelines, which are measured against the number of unscheduled missed hours. Must be at work on time. Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job.
  4. Demonstrates a positive “team” oriented demeanor and approach toward work assignments. Contributes to the ongoing success of the entire warehouse team by willingly accepting and embracing “other duties as required” along with a willingness to help the department as a whole.
  5. Actively cross-trains in other areas, as required, outside of a primary job function.
  6. Ensures a safe working environment for self and others by adhering to established safety expectations and by following established housekeeping requirements. Notifies management of any observed safety hazards.
  7. Interacts effectively with individuals and groups inside and outside the organization.
  8. Follows appropriate procedures for the area.
  9. Notifies management of any procedure violations.
  10. Maintains a professional, neat, and orderly work area, including product preservation.
  11. Maintains ESD Control for area, as applicable.
  12. Attends team talks regularly.

  15. Supports and participates in the company’s total quality process, including continuous improvements.

The following summarizes the key job accountabilities to be performed:

  1. Pulls parts from bin box or shelving.
  2. Verifies part numbers, quantity, hardware, date, and lot codes.
  3. Enters required information in handheld computer/iPad.
  4. Repackages product, as requested.
  5. Reports issues professionally.
  6. Meets customer requirements.
  7. Applies and scans barcodes.

SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS

  1. Able to use a computer and handheld computer/iPad (preferred).
  2. Able to count and match accurately and perform simple math.
  3. Ability to see, read, and understand instructions in English with various sizes and fonts.
  4. Able to hear and interpret verbal communication(s) at a threshold of 20db at 1000Hz & 2000Hz and at 25db at 500Hz & 4000Hz.
  5. Strong quality and productivity orientation.
  6. Able to maneuver in aisles 36" wide, stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, grasp, push, and pull for 10-12 hours, and reach, lift and carry products weighing up to 40 pounds from ground level and up to 2' (using stairs and ladders).
  7. May be trained to operate a powered industrial truck (such as wave, forklift, and/or pallet jack) (preferred).
  8. Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job.
  9. Ability to work overtime and weekends.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Prior warehouse experience preferred.

Stock Control Associate – Order Pulling

  1. Level 1 is considered entry level.
  2. Level 2 may be achieved by maintaining an error rate less than 1000 PPM and an average of 85% of the goal for activity per hour.
  3. Level 3 may be achieved by maintaining an error rate less than 500 PPM and an average of 100% of the goal for activity per hour.

Stock Control Associate – Order Pulling – MSL

  1. Must work in a zone that is designated for MSL for 50% or more of the hours worked.
  2. Level 1 is considered entry level.
  3. Level 2 may be achieved by maintaining an error rate less than 1000 PPM and an average of 85% of the goal for activity per hour.
  4. Level 3 may be achieved by maintaining an error rate less than 500 PPM and an average of 100% of the goal for activity per hour.

Stock Control Associate – Order Pulling – Wave Driver

  1. Must be a certified wave driver.
  2. Must work in a zone that is designated for a wave for 50% or more of the hours worked.
  3. Level 1 is considered entry level.
  4. Level 2 may be achieved by maintaining an error rate less than 1000 PPM and an average of 85% of the goal for activity per hour.
  5. Level 3 may be achieved by maintaining an error rate less than 500 PPM and an average of 100% of the goal for activity per hour.

Stock Control Associate – Order Pulling – Forklift Driver

  1. Must be a certified forklift driver.
  2. Must work in a zone that is designated for a forklift for 50% or more of the hours worked.
  3. Level 1 is considered entry level.
  4. Level 2 may be achieved by maintaining an error rate less than 1000 PPM and an average of 85% of the goal for activity per hour.
  5. Level 3 may be achieved by maintaining an error rate less than 500 PPM and an average of 100% of the goal for activity per hour.
