Job summary

Fitzgerald Auto Mall is hiring a Parts Stock Clerk to join our growing automotive shop team. You will sort and count inventory, verify shipments against packing slips, and correctly receive and distribute parts.

Responsibilities include inspecting for damage, operating material handling equipment, and complying with hazardous waste rules. A valid driver's license is required; automotive experience is a bonus with full training provided. This is a full-time on-site role in the Chambersburg area.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for long periods and work on feet.
• Automotive experience is a plus; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Sort, count, package, label, and unpack inventory received.
• Receive and unload incoming material and verify with packing slips.
• Inspect shipments for damage and report findings.
• Receive, report, and distribute purchased items accurately.
• Operate dolly, pallet jack, or forklift for loading/unloading.
• Follow state and federal regulations, including hazardous waste disposal.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sort, count, package, label, and unpack inventory received
• Receive and unload incoming material and compare information on packing slips with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment
• Inspect shipments for damage, loss, or defects, and notify management of findings
• Responsible for accurately receiving, reporting, and distributing purchased items
• Operate dolly, pallet jack, and /or forklift in loading and unloading material
• Understand and follow all state and federal regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes.
