Job summary

Fitzgerald Auto Mall seeks an Inventory Clerk to support day-to-day parts inventory management and ensure accurate receiving, stocking, organization, and control within the parts department. You will help maintain inventory accuracy, assist technicians and parts personnel, and contribute to efficient operations while delivering outstanding service to internal departments and external customers.

This on-site role in Frederick, MD requires attention to detail, dependability, and the ability to use

Qualifications

• Automotive parts experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient with inventory systems and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts of automotive parts and accessories.
• Compare physical inventory to Reynolds DMS/WMS records.
• Research and resolve inventory variances and identify root causes.
• Maintain accurate bin locations and part organization.
• Verify receiving, shipping, returns, and transfers are processed correctly.
• Conduct audits of high-value and fast-moving inventory.
• Utilize barcode scanners and inventory management systems to update counts.

Hiring Immediately – Inventory Clerk

Fitzgerald Auto Mall is currently looking to hire an Inventory Clerk to support the day-to-day management of parts inventory and ensure accurate receiving, stocking, organization, and inventory control within our parts department. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a detail-oriented, dependable individual to join our team.

The Inventory Clerk plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting technicians and parts personnel, and helping ensure the efficient operation of the parts department. This position is essential to providing outstanding service to both our internal departments and external customers while contributing to the continued success of our company.

• Perform daily cycle counts of automotive parts and accessories.


• Compare physical inventory to DMS/WMS inventory records (Reynolds).


• Research and resolve inventory variances and identify root causes.


• Maintain accurate bin locations and part organization.


• Verify receiving, shipping, returns, and transfers are processed correctly.


• Conduct audits of high-value and fast-moving inventory.


• Utilize barcode scanners and inventory management systems to update counts.
