Areas USA seeks a reliable Warehouse Clerk to support shipping, receiving and inventory tasks at our facility in New York. The role involves unloading, inspecting shipments, labeling for inventory control, and maintaining organized stock areas.

The ideal candidate has at least one year in a warehouse, plus experience with data entry and inventory systems, strong computer skills, and solid math and communication abilities. Training provided in safety procedures.

Qualifications

• At least one year of warehouse experience.
• Experience with data entry, inventorying and shipping.
• Basic computer skills, good communication and math abilities.

Responsabilités

• Unload, unpack, and inspect shipments; report damage or missing items as directed.
• Price items with mark-ups and label by size and color for inventory control.
• Maintain recycling program; collect cardboard and place in proper areas.
• Assist in merchandise counts, daily records, and transfers in the inventory system.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Inform supervisor of low or excess stock levels.
• Keep work areas neat, clean and organized with safety in mind.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Warehouse ClerkOverviewAs a Warehouse Clerk, you may work across shipping, receiving, and inventorying or be dedicated to a specific team.ResponsibilitiesUnload, unpack, and inspect shipments of products. Report any damage, missing items, or inconsistencies as directed.Pricing items with appropriate mark-ups and labeling with the size and color for inventory control.Maintain the recycling program, collecting cardboard and placing in the appropriate areas.Assist in the maintenance of merchandise counts, daily records, and transfers within the inventory system.Assist in physical inventories.Inform supervisor of any low or over abundance in stock.Ensure that all work areas are neat clean and organized with strong attention to safety.Perform any other duties as assigned.QualificationsAt least one year experience working in a warehouse.Experience receiving using a data entry system, inventorying, and shipping.Computer knowledge and good communication skills.Must possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle counts accurately.
