Job summary

Houchens Food Group in Kentucky is hiring a Stock Clerk to stock, straighten, and rotate merchandise, and to unload truck deliveries using available equipment. You will maintain a clean work area and assist customers as needed.

Responsibilities include operating cashier equipment/systems, bagging purchases, and following safety policies while maintaining a productive pace in a team environment.

• Performs basic housekeeping duties using available equipment, (mops, brooms, floor scrubbing and buffing machines, etc.)
• Operates all required tools and equipment in a safe manner except when restricted due to age.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Standing and/or walking at a rapid pace for extended periods of time to perform job functions.

STOCK CLERK – Grocery

• Stocks and straightens merchandise and supplies.
• Rotates merchandise as necessary according to product expiration dates.
• Receives and unloads truck deliveries using available equipment and according to established guidelines.
• Performs basic housekeeping duties using available equipment, (mops, brooms, floor scrubbing and buffing machines, etc.)
