Job Description

The Stock Clerk receives, stores, and issues equipment, materials, supplies, merchandise, or tools, and maintains inventory records at CMI's customer site in Virginia.

Key Job Functions
  1. Receive, review, and process supplies and material requests.
  2. Select and deliver stock-keeping units (SKU’s) and update databases accordingly.
  3. Verify and receive all incoming inventory.
  4. Maintain storage within set minimum and maximum quantities, reorder as needed, and prepare reports.
  5. Coordinate with Office Supply vendors on service issues.
  6. Manage and complete monthly paper orders for all buildings.
  7. Handle incoming shipments, match with orders, and store appropriately.
  8. Identify and return damaged or non-conforming materials.
  9. Store articles based on identifying information.
  10. Fulfills orders, issues supplies, and conducts periodic inventory.
  11. Compile reports on stock handling and inventory issues.
  12. Label articles with identifying codes.
Qualifications
  1. At least one year of inventory or warehouse management experience.
  2. Understanding of inventory management functions.
  3. Proficiency with computer systems such as Windows 10, Outlook, Word, Excel.
  4. Ability to process orders and manage stock movement.
  5. Ability to lift and handle packages up to 70 pounds.
