Job summary

GUESS Factory in Valley Stream, NY is seeking a Stock Associate to receive, unpack, and prepare merchandise for the selling floor, while keeping the stock room organized and clean. You will manage shipments, replenish selling floor stock, assist with transfers and RTVs, handle damages, and participate in inventories.

A team player with reliability, flexible hours, and physical stamina is required. This role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 30 pounds, and supporting store

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Retail or stockroom experience is preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch and balance.
• Team player with reliability and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, and prepare merchandise for the selling floor.
• Maintain stock room cleanliness and organization.
• Notify management of shipment discrepancies and shortages.
• Stock and replenish selling floor merchandise from stock and stock room.
• Process transfers, RTVs, manage damages, and handle customer charge sends.
• Participate in all store inventories and basic housekeeping.
