Dierbergs Markets, Inc. is seeking a part-time Stock Associate to join our team in Saint Charles, MO. You will stock, display, rotate merchandise and assist customers in a fast-paced store environment.

You will handle inventory tasks, operate equipment, and maintain a clean, safe work area while meeting showroom standards. Weekend availability and reliable attendance are expected as part of this role.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.
• Basic math and computer skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and keep work area safe and clean.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Prompt and regular attendance.
• Adherence to dress code and personal hygiene standards.
• Hepatitis A vaccination for associates in MO food handling departments.

Responsibilities

• Stocking, product display and rotation; assist with inventory and quality control.
• Interact with customers and share knowledge of store items.
• Operate and maintain department equipment as required.
• Count and verify incoming products against invoices or requisitions.
• Check stock for damaged products and rehome as needed.
• Break down loads and move cases to aisles; use equipment safely.
• Match order codes/UPC codes to shelf tags before stocking.
• Ensure showroom readiness and well-stocked shelves.
• Reconcile invoices with deliveries and set up displays per standards.
• Perform cashier or courtesy duties when requested.
• Stock an average of around 60 cases per hour.

Stock Associate Part-Time Dierbergs Markets

A Stock Associate works as part of a team to stock and arrange merchandise while utilizing their eye for organization. They are friendly, enjoy helping people, and are able to multitask with their responsibilities:

• Assist with stocking, product display and rotation, inventory and quality control


• Interact with customers and share your knowledge of the store's vast selection of items


• Operate and maintain department equipment such as safety cutter, baler, high lift and electric/hand jacks (must be 18 years old to operate some equipment)


• Count and sort incoming products to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoices


• Examine stock for damaged product and place in designated areas


• Break down loads and move cases of product to aisles using two or six-wheeler


• Match order codes, UPC codes or product descriptions to shelf tags before stocking shelves


• Ensure that the store is well-stocked and looks showroom-ready- it's Dierbergs, and our customers expect the best


• Reconcile invoices and requisitions with product deliveries


• Set up and take down displays and/or shelves according to company standards


• Perform cashier or courtesy clerk duties when requested


• Stock an average of 60 cases per hour
