Job summary

Happier Grocery in New York seeks a Stock Associate to stock shelves, organize inventory, and ensure displays are merchandised and available for customers. You will follow planograms and help create compelling product presentations across the store.

You will work with team members, maintain safety standards, and assist with receiving, shelving, and routine duties. Lifting up to 45 pounds is required as needed.

• Stock shelves and rotate product properly to guarantee fresh product is available for the customer
• Follow merchandising planograms to create excellently merchandised displays
• Organize new inventory, removes, and breaks down empty boxes
• Operate machinery and follows all safety procedures
• Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to store management
• Uphold the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility
• Ability to stock merchandise from store receiving to shelving; ability to place product, weighing up to 45 pounds, on shelving at various heights
• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry and walk about the store
• Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
• Other duties as assigned

The Opportunity

As a Stock Associate, you will be responsible for stocking and organizing new incoming inventory. You will play a key role in providing an excellent shopping experience by making sure product displays are merchandised, expertly displayed and available to our customers.
