Polly Country Market is seeking a Grocery Stock Clerk to keep shelves stocked, organized, and clean. You will unload deliveries, rotate products, and assist customers as needed.

This role requires a reliable, self-motivated team player with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with locating products and questions.
• Return misplaced items to proper locations.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines.

Job Summary

The Grocery Stock Clerk is responsible for keeping store shelves stocked, organized, and clean. This includes unloading deliveries, rotating products, checking for expired items, and assisting customers as needed to ensure a well-stocked and customer-friendly shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries and stock shelves, coolers, and displays with merchandise.
• Rotate products using "first in, first out" (FIFO) to reduce waste.
• Check for and remove expired, damaged, or outdated items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of stock areas and sales floor.
• Build and maintain product displays and promotional setups.
• Assist customers with locating products and answering basic questions.
• Return misplaced items to their proper locations.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Notify management of inventory issues, shortages, or overstock.
