Job summary

World Market is hiring for an in-store role in Alexandria, VA. You will help create a fun, memorable shopping experience, process freight, merchandise, price signage, and stock shelves while supporting customers both in-store and for online pickup orders.

We value a can-do attitude, effective communication, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Retail experience is a plus, but not required. Minimum age 16. Hourly pay ranges from $14.00 to $14.50.

What You’ll Do

You will be responsible for a variety of duties including customer service and making the shopping experience fun and memorable for our customer:

• Process freight and unload trucks.

• Maintain merchandising, pricing, signing and sales floor replenishment standards.

• Maintain an organized stockroom.

• Contribute to a safe shopping environment.

• Checkout customer in store and buy online pick up in store purchases as needed.
