Minimum Qualifications

• Active Ohio State tested nurse aide certification
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or move 50 lbs regularly and 100 lbs occasionally
• Ability to work effectively with the aging population and provide people-centered care
• Effective reading, writing, and communication skills in English
• Physical ability to perform job functions
• Reliable attendance record
• Ability to demonstrate harmonious interaction with others
• Knowledge of age-specific interventions

Job Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care including grooming, bathing, feeding, and activities
• Respond promptly to call lights
• Maintain residents' functional abilities using prescribed programs
• Follow infection control policies and OSHA guidelines
• Implement and evaluate residents' Plan of Care
• Update medical records accurately and timely
• Perform environmental cleaning and homemaking tasks
• Assist residents with laundry and personal care
• Prepare rooms for new residents following policies
