Job summary

Locust Ridge Nursing Home in Williamsburg, OH, is seeking experienced full-time State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNA) to join our Dayshift team. You will provide high-quality care to residents in a supportive, professional environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, maintaining residents' dignity and rights, and documenting care accurately. Must hold a valid STNA certification and demonstrate excellent communication and lift-assistance skills.

Qualifications

• STNA certification is required.
• Strong documentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use proper lift technique and lift equipment to move and transfer residents.

Essential Functions

• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor towards residents, visitors, families, and co-workers
• Assist in daily care of residents, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, transferring, repositioning, and other activities of daily living
• Promote and protect resident rights, treat residents with dignity and respect, protect resident's personal belongings, report suspected abuse or neglect
• Perform other duties as assigned
