Edgewood Manor Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Sandusky, OH is seeking a compassionate State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA) to support nursing staff and provide direct care to residents. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor residents, and help maintain a safe, clean environment.

Qualified candidates will hold an STNA certification, have strong communication skills, and be able to work well in a team or independently.

Qualifications

• Current State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA) certification in your state.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in healthcare or long-term care is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and respectful attitude toward residents and families.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Physical ability to assist residents with mobility and daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming and eating.
• Provide support and companionship to residents, fostering a caring environment.
• Monitor residents' well-being and report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring resident safety.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and common areas.
• Assist with feeding and document food intake as necessary.
• Uphold infection control and safety protocols.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.

We are seeking to hire a compassionate and dedicated State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA) to join our team of outstanding caregivers!

Position Overview: As a State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA), you will provide essential support to our nursing staff and direct care to our residents. Your role will be critical in ensuring the comfort and well-being of residents while assisting them with their daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Provide support and companionship to residents, fostering a caring and respectful environment.
• Monitor residents' physical and emotional well-being, reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
• Assist with mobility, transferring residents as needed while ensuring their safety.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and common areas.
• Assist with feeding residents, ensuring dietary needs are met and documenting food intake as necessary.
• Uphold infection control protocols and adhere to safety standards at all times.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
