Job summary

The Centerville Post Acute is seeking a dedicated State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents under licensed supervision. You will support daily living activities, assist with meals, monitor vitals, and document care with a patient‑centered approach.

This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and respect for resident dignity, with opportunities for diverse shifts including days, nights, or PRN positions at a facility committed to safety, quality

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Ohio STNA certification.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care is preferred but not required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral care.
• Assist residents with meals, hydration, and maintaining proper nutrition.
• Safely transfer, reposition, and ambulate residents per care plans.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs.
• Record vital signs and other measurements.
• Observe for changes and report concerns to the nurse.
• Maintain a clean and safe resident environment.
• Provide compassionate care while protecting privacy and dignity.
