Job summary

Norwood Towers Post Acute in Norwood, OH is seeking compassionate STNAs to join our team this fall, delivering attentive daily care and promoting dignity for residents in a warm, supportive environment. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with nursing staff to ensure safety and privacy.

Day and night shifts are available; current STNA license is required, CPR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current STNA license required.
• Strong communication, basic math, and problem-solving skills.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Physical ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Direct Resident Care: Assist residents with daily living activities, answer call lights promptly, and meet personal care needs with dignity.
• Warm & Welcoming Environment: Greet new admissions, help residents settle into rooms, and maintain a cheerful unit atmosphere.
• Clinical Collaboration: Measure and record vital signs, monitor intake, observe skin condition, and report changes to the Nurse Supervisor.
• Safety & Standards: Preserve resident privacy, follow safety and infection control protocols, and operate equipment safely.

As the leaves change, it's the perfect time to make a fresh start in a role that truly matters. We are looking for compassionate, dedicated STNA to join our team this autumn and bring warmth, quality care, and positive energy to our residents every day.

What You'll Do

• Direct Resident Care: Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility), answer call lights promptly, and ensure personal care needs are met with dignity.
• Warm & Welcoming Environment: Greet new admissions, help residents settle into their rooms, and cultivate a calm, cheerful atmosphere on your unit.
• Clinical Collaboration: Measure and record vital signs (TPRs), monitor food/fluid intake, observe skin condition, and report any changes in status immediately to the Nurse Supervisor.
• Safety & Standards: Maintain resident privacy (HIPAA), follow safety/infection control protocols, and safely operate authorized equipment.

Qualifications

• License: Current STNA license required.
• Skills: Strong communication, basic math, and problem-solving skills; CPR certification preferred.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, assist with resident transfers, and occasionally lift/move up to 25 lbs.
