Job summary

Summit Home Care and Hospice is seeking an experienced STNA to join our Home Health & Hospice teams in Marion, OH. The role involves traveling to patient visits and occasional remote work from the local office, with a ~30-mile radius workload.

Responsibilities include personal care, observation, and documentation under RN supervision, with a $1,000 sign-on bonus and competitive hourly pay of $18–$20.

Qualifications

• Must meet STNA training and license requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to read and follow written instructions and document care.
• Self-directing with the ability to work with little supervision.
• Shows empathy for ill, injured, frail and impaired.
• Demonstrates tact, patience and good personal hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, toileting and oral hygiene.
• Observe and report patient conditions; document care performed.
• Work under supervision of RN or therapist to promote quality and safety.
• Provide care including ambulation and exercise as per care plan.
• Administer skin care and preventive measures to avoid breakdown.
• Assist with meals and monitoring temperatures, pulse and BP when ordered.
