Job summary

Paycom in Ohio is seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to provide hands-on resident care in a long-term care or assisted living setting under RN/LPN supervision. You will assist with ADLs, monitor vital signs, support mobility, and help maintain a safe, clean environment while documenting changes and communicating with the nursing team.

Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach are essential; active STNA certification required; benefits include health

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification.
• Experience in long-term care or healthcare setting preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Help residents with mobility including transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Monitor and document vital signs and report abnormalities to nursing staff.
• Observe residents for health changes and report concerns to supervising nurse.
• Assist with meals, ensure proper nutrition and hydration, document intake.
