REPORTS TO: Athletic Director/HS Principal

The Boys JV Basketball Assistant Coach at Abby Kelley Foster Charter Public School for the SY 20XX-20XX winter athletic season is a vital component of our athletic program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Program Leadership: Organize tryouts, lead practice sessions, and supervise student-athletes before, during, and after games.
• Technical Instruction: Teach and refine sport fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure all athletes have current medical physicals and guarantee strict adherence to MIAA and school athletic rules.
• Operations: Maintain inventory and care of team equipment and uniforms.
• Collaboration: Work closely and stay in close communication with the Head Coach and Athletic Director regarding all aspects of the program.
