Job Summary: Work Location: | The Department of Surgery has an opening for a full-time Faculty position (unclassified) Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. The Division of GI, Trauma and Endocrine Surgery in the Department of Surgery (GITES) at the University of Colorado, School of Medicine, has a full-time faculty position available at the rank of Instructor for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA). Under the direction of the full-time faculty or designee, this position provides inpatient medical care services at the University of Colorado Hospital (UCH). The candidate will be expected to provide independent clinical services for our Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit (STICU). This description is a summary only, describing the general level of work being performed. It is not intended to be all-inclusive.
