Through guidance, patience, and clarity, the AileyCamp Teaching Artist teaches and empowers campers to be the best they can be in their participation at STG AileyCamp. They are passionate, committed, and motivated about their job and can reach out to campers and create relationships of mutual trust. They know how to organize their daily responsibilities and make learning a meaningful process. They support the campers with their focus, motivation, and learning in class. They are a dedicated ally in the campers’ process of learning and development. This temporary, part-time position reports to STG AileyCamp Director & Associate Director of Education and earns $75/hour teaching rate; $25/hour planning rate, $25/hour support staff rate (when not teaching), $25/hour staff orientation rate.
Specific Training/Teaching Experience in the following dance styles: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Horton/Modern, Percussionist
