University of Notre Dame is seeking an Assistant Director of Stewardship & Donor Relations to manage the Memorial Tree & Bench Program, coordinate events, and lead capital impact updates. The role supports the Stewardship & Donor Relations team within Development, partnering with fundraisers and leadership.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in donor relations, exceptional communication, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 3+ years of professional experience in development, donor relations, stewardship, communications, event planning, or higher education administration.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail and editing precision.

Responsibilities

• Manage the University's Memorial Tree & Bench Program from inquiry through installation and dedication.
• Provide flexible, high-level support across the unit during peak periods and assist with gift acknowledgments and reporting.
• Plan and execute donor events, including high-touch dedications for major donors.
• Lead annual capital impact updates to inform donors of the impact of their support.
• Oversee stewardship communications, including newsletters and content on stewardship.nd.edu.
