Job summary

The MGM Grand Detroit is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to lead the stewarding team across outlets, driving cleanliness, efficiency and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced hotel/casino environment.

The ideal candidate brings two years of stewarding experience in a hotel or casino, prior supervisory or management experience in hospitality, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays to keep operations smooth and guests impressed.

Qualifications

• Two years of stewarding experience in a hotel/casino.
• Previous supervisory/management experience in the restaurant industry preferred.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned staff, including hiring recommendations, training, coaching, performance feedback, scheduling.
• Provide ideas for new products, services, tech and processes.
• Inspect equipment and kitchen areas for cleanliness and sanitary standards.
• Maintain inventory/records for dinnerware, flatware and glassware.
• Monitor dishwashing temperature and chemical solution requirements.
• Requisition new/ replacement equipment as needed.
