ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise all employees engaged in bartending and serving for a specific outlet.
  • Review manifest and staffing levels to determine appropriate work assignments for the staff.
  • Check with Cooks to determine menu changes, substitutions or deletions for the day and notify staff.
  • Investigate and resolve guest complaints or concerns in accordance with standard procedures.
  • Monitor silverware and plate status and orders items as needed with budget constrictions taken into account.
  • Develop schedules to reflect staffing levels needed to give optimal guest service.
  • Check out restaurant cashiers, cocktail servers or other employees with cash drawers to ensure cash balances.
  • Train new employees and update all employees on new procedures or policies.
  • Conduct a physical inventory of bar ware and requisition replacement items as needed.
  • Coach and counsel all employees when needed to reinforce department and company policy and procedures.
  • Maintain a well-informed shift by conducting daily shift meetings.
  • Department walk throughs are done on a daily basis to assure cleanliness and all equipment is operational.
  • Must be able to work various shifts and hours to include holidays and weekends.
  • Other duties as assigned.
