ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise all employees engaged in bartending and serving for a specific outlet.
- Review manifest and staffing levels to determine appropriate work assignments for the staff.
- Check with Cooks to determine menu changes, substitutions or deletions for the day and notify staff.
- Investigate and resolve guest complaints or concerns in accordance with standard procedures.
- Monitor silverware and plate status and orders items as needed with budget constrictions taken into account.
- Develop schedules to reflect staffing levels needed to give optimal guest service.
- Check out restaurant cashiers, cocktail servers or other employees with cash drawers to ensure cash balances.
- Train new employees and update all employees on new procedures or policies.
- Conduct a physical inventory of bar ware and requisition replacement items as needed.
- Coach and counsel all employees when needed to reinforce department and company policy and procedures.
- Maintain a well-informed shift by conducting daily shift meetings.
- Department walk throughs are done on a daily basis to assure cleanliness and all equipment is operational.
- Must be able to work various shifts and hours to include holidays and weekends.
