Job summary

Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino is seeking a Steward to support our culinary operation. You will help maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchenware, assist with dishwashing, and ensure a safe dining environment for guests and staff.

You will restock supplies, support food prep as needed, and collaborate with culinary and service teams to improve efficiency. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required; prior stewarding experience is a plus but not

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate to heavy weight (up to 50 lbs).
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous stewarding or kitchen experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of all hotel kitchenware including china, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and utensils
• Operate dishwashing machines and other cleaning equipment as directed
• Remove trash and recyclables and ensure kitchen and stewarding areas are clean, organized, and safe
• Restock supplies and assist with food preparation support as needed
• Follow proper sanitation and safety procedures in compliance with food safety standards
• Collaborate with the culinary and service teams to support overall kitchen efficiency
• Provide courteous service and assistance to colleagues and occasionally guests
