Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton San Diego Bay - Downtown is seeking an attentive Stewarding helper to support the dishwashing area and restaurant outlets. You will quickly wash wares, maintain machines, and ensure silvers are polished for smooth service.

Role requires physical stamina, reliable attendance, and the ability to move heavy items as part of a busy hotel kitchen team in downtown San Diego.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of service ware and how to maintain it to complement guest experience.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to push/pull service carts weighing up to 150 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Ability to transport heavy objects through a crowded room with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Assist Stewarding Supervisor and Restaurant Outlets in cleaning and organizing Food and Beverage Outlets.
• Sort soiled ware for dish or pot machines and wash ware promptly.
• Keep dish machine clean and filled with water per hotel standards.
• Polish silverware and ensure proper appearance for service.

NoOverviewAssist Stewarding Supervisor and Restaurant Outlets in the cleaning and organizing of the Food and Beverage Outlets.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Promptly and carefully sort soiled ware so that it can be put through the dish or pot machine properly.
