Job summary

Culinaire at Compass Group USA in Lake Mary, FL is seeking a part-time steward. Work includes mornings and nights, Monday through Sunday, with on-site duties at Shula's 347 Grille. Online applications accepted only.

Responsibilities include maintaining kitchen areas and equipment, sanitation, operating dishwashing and related machinery, and assisting with setup and supply deliveries. Prior steward experience is preferred, and training is available.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen work areas and equipment in clean and orderly condition.
• Operate dishwashing and related machinery (sanitizers, compactors, etc.).
• Wash work surfaces, tables, and prep areas for safety and sanitation compliance.
• Assist with setup, loading/unloading, and moving supplies as needed.
• Follow all sanitation and safety guidelines and perform other duties as assigned.

• We have an opening for a part time STEWARD position.
• Location: Shula's 347 Grille - 2974 International Parkway, Lake Mary, FL 32746. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Part time; Monday through Sunday, morning and night shift. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous steward experience is preferred. Willing to train!

• Pay Rate: $16.00 to $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Perform job duties required to maintain kitchen work areas, kitchen equipment in clean and orderly condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sweeps and mops floors at appropriate intervals to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Operates large electric machines such as dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks and all other food prep surfaces as assigned.
• Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans in appropriate and assigned areas.
• Washes dishes, pots, pans, utensils and other food preparation machines and equipment.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas observing all safe lifting standards.
• Assists with banquet table and front of the house set up as requested.
• Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Complies with all outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
