Job summary

Culinaire, a Compass Group brand, is seeking a part-time Steward at the Meyerson, Dallas, TX location. The role covers kitchen sanitation, dishwashing, and support duties during scheduled shifts from Thursday to Sunday evenings and mornings.

Applicants with steward experience are preferred. Pay ranges from $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, with online applications accepted only.

Qualifications

• Experience in stewarding or food service sanitation is preferred.
• Ability to maintain clean and organized kitchen areas.
• Willingness to follow safety and sanitation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen work areas and equipment in clean and orderly condition.
• Operate large electric machines such as dishwashers and trash compactors.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other prep surfaces.
• Segregate and dispose of trash in designated containers and clean cans.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other equipment.
• Transport supplies between storage and work areas safely.
• Assist with banquet table and front-of-house setup as needed.
• Assist with loading/unloading and delivering supplies.
• Distribute supplies and portable equipment as required.
• Comply with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Location: Meyerson - 2301 Flora Street, Dallas, TX 75201. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Part time; Thursday through Saturday, 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and Sunday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous steward experience is preferred.

Job Summary

Summary: Perform job duties required to maintain kitchen work areas, kitchen equipment in clean and orderly condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sweeps and mops floors at appropriate intervals to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Operates large electric machines such as dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks and all other food prep surfaces as assigned.
• Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans in appropriate and assigned areas.
• Washes dishes, pots, pans, utensils and other food preparation machines and equipment.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas observing all safe lifting standards.
• Assists with banquet table and front of the house set up as requested.
• Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Complies with all outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
