Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepares tableware for washing, i.e., scrapes plates, pre-soak silver, places all items to be washed in their proper rack. Sets up dishwashing machine, i.e., drains closed, tanks filled, temperatures at correct level, detergents at proper level. Washes dishes and then stacks and stores china in appropriate kitchen area. Thoroughly cleans dishwashing equipment and working areas. Collects all soiled pots, washes and restacks cleaned pots on shelves. Responsible for all removal of garbage and refuse. Mops and sweeps floors. Washes walls and ceiling tiles. Sanitizes all cooking equipment.

Maintains upbeat, positive attitude, friendly and helpful demeanor, positive energy and enthusiasm from one interaction to the next. Utilizes smiles and frequent eye contact and friendly tone of voice to project warmth and friendliness. Promotes Caesars and always projects Caesars in a positive light to guests.

Understands and responds to internal customers needs. Communicates in a friendly, respectful and understandable manner. Politely gives consistent, timely and accurate information and finds answers when unsure. Meets expected service delivery times as defined by department's service standards or as required by receiver of service or goods. Is a team player, cooperates with employees within the department as well as other departments. Speaks positively about the company, co-workers and customers.

Requirements:

Requires speed and accuracy in order to maintain maximum efficiency. Is able to work in smoke filled environment, and is able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to submerse hands into warm or cold water for extended periods of time while cleaning dishware. Must be able to push or pull carts of 50 lbs. or less. Able to change schedule with short notice.

Stable work history, preferably in the casino or hospitality industry.

Is able to work in smoke filled environment, and is able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time.

Must be able to obtain a "Harness" license.
