Job summary

Eurest, a Compass Group USA company, is hiring for a full- and part-time STEWARD at ilani in Ridgefield, WA. This role maintains kitchen work areas and equipment, supports sanitation and safety standards, and assists with general prep in a fast-paced environment.

No experience is required; on-the-job training is provided. The pay range is $17.13–$18.00 per hour, with benefits for both full-time and part-time staff. Weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps and mops floors to meet sanitation standards.
• Operates large electric machines such as dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks and all other food prep surfaces as assigned.
• Segregates and removes trash and garbage to designated containers and steam cleans cans.
• Washes dishes, pots, pans, utensils and other food prep equipment.
• Transfers supplies between storage and work areas with safe lifting.
• Assists with banquet table and front of house setup as requested.
• Assists with loading/unloading and delivering supplies and products.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Follows all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Summary: Perform job duties required to maintain kitchen work areas, kitchen equipment in clean and orderly condition.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sweeps and mops floors at appropriate intervals to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Operates large electric machines such as dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks and all other food prep surfaces as assigned.
• Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans in appropriate and assigned areas.
• Washes dishes, pots, pans, utensils and other food preparation machines and equipment.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas observing all safe lifting standards.
• Assists with banquet table and front of the house set up as requested.
• Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Complies with all outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
