Job summary

Hollywood Casino Toledo is seeking a diligent kitchen team member to perform dishwashing and basic sanitation duties in our busy dining operations.

You will stand for long shifts, operate the dish machines, and help keep all pots, pans, and utensils clean and ready for service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of kitchen or food-service experience.
• Sanitation certificate from local Health Department.
• Must stand for long periods.
• Must be able to follow directions.
• Physically mobile with ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform bending, squatting, and reaching.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean all kitchen dishware and utensils.
• Operate dishwashing equipment and maintain sanitation standards.
• Restack and store clean dishes properly.
• Assist with basic kitchen duties as assigned.

• Preparing tableware for washing
• Collecting all soiled pots, washes and restacks cleaned pots on shelves
• Responsible for removal of garbage and refuse
• Mopping, scrubbing, rinsing and polishing hard floors
• Washing walls and ceiling tiles
• Cleaning and sanitizing all cooking equipment
• Proper maintenance and distribution of company assets
• Setting up dishwashing machine
• Stacking and stores clean dishes in proper kitchen areas
• Recognizing and using appropriate chemicals
• Cleaning all floors
• Other duties as necessary
