Job Description

This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation within our food and beverage division. Stewards are responsible for washing and storing all serving ware, cookware, and utensils used in food preparation and service.

Responsibilities

1. Thoroughly and efficiently wash dishes, pots, cookware, and utensils in compliance with Omni’s sanitation standards.
2. Break down trays from banquets and outlets.
3. Deliver clean cookware and serving ware to various outlets and meeting rooms.
4. Maintain a clean and sanitary work station.
5. Neatly store all dishes, cookware, and utensils in their proper locations.
6. Assist with prep positions as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability and willingness to stand for 8 hours.
• Ability and willingness to lift up to 50 lbs., push, pull, bend, stretch, and reach.
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
• Willingness to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Previous stewarding experience is strongly preferred.
• Food safety certification.
