Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Steward to support kitchen operations at Alltown Fresh. Responsibilities include washing and chopping ingredients, stocking shelves, communicating needs to the Chef, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Use state-of-the-art equipment to prep fresh ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat and other meal prep.
• Label and stock all ingredients on shelves and maintain an organized workspace.
• Communicate inventory and kitchen needs to Chef.
• Follow safe food handling procedures.
• Rotate stock items and store produce at proper temperatures.
• Own the dish station, ensuring it is set up, stocked, and cleaned.
• Perform daily and weekly cleaning tasks.
• Empty trash daily and maintain a sanitary work area.
• Make catering deliveries as needed.

Job Description

• Using state of the art equipment to prep fresh ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat and other meal prep.
• Responsible for labeling and stocking all ingredients on shelves and maintaining an organized and efficient workspace.
• Responsible for communicating inventory and kitchen needs to Chef.
• Understands and follows safe food handling procedures.
• Follows established guidelines rotating stock items and storing produce at appropriate temperatures.
• Takes ownership of the dish station making sure area is set up and stocked as well as washing dishes as needed.
• Follows and performs both daily and weekly cleaning assignments.
• Empties trash as needed daily.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Makes catering deliveries as needed.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $17.49 - $20.70 The pay range for this position is outlined above. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities and geographic location, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
